‘Elephant King’ unveils new poster

Iranian animation ‘The Elephant King’ has unveiled a new poster for the second week of its public screening.

Gone on screen from almost two weeks ago, the animation is one of the Nowruz holidays hits in Iranian cinema theaters.

The New poster is designed by Mohammad Rouh-ol-Amin.

Directed by Hadi Mohammadian and produced by Iran-based Honar Pooya Group, the animation has been described as a step forward both from the view point of technique and content.

Running for 90 minutes in collaboration with a team of 150 professionals, ‘Elephant King’ has the largest number of characters among Iranian animations.

Set in Africa, the animation film narrates the story of an elephant who rules over its group like a king.

The queen bears him a son and everybody expects the son to replace his father as heir to the throne. The clumsy baby elephant, however, disappoints them all.

The animation recently went on the silver screen in Iran and is scheduled to take part at the 36th edition of the Fajr International Film Festival in November 2018 in Tehran.

ifilm has recently published a comprehensive exclusive report on 'The Elephant King'.
